Playgroup at the Fire Station

Back in October the kids had a day off of school for "Fair Day." Apparently, out here in TX the fair is huge and each district picks a day to have no school in order to have the kids enjoy the day at the fair. Well, a day at the Fair with an entire district of kids did not sound enticing to me. Thankfully, one of the gals from church planned a playgroup on the exact same day to the Fire Station and that is where we headed instead :)

Here is the entire crew lining up for the fireman! There were 22 kids in all! What a turn out :)

The highlight of the day, getting to sit inside the fire truck of course!

At the end of the tour the kids were given hats, coloring books, and crayons. They loved everything and couldn't wait to wear their hats!
