Halloween 2010

This year was the first in three years that my kids have been able to proudly display their costumes come Halloween night! They were so excited that they didn't have to wear coats, mittens, beanies, the whole getup to keep warm that they could not contain themselves to go out trick-or-treating. We celebrated by going to our wards annual Trunk or Treat and then come Halloween night we went out for about an hour around our neighborhood. The kids got tons of loot, and I must admit, I have been the one pilfering the candy jar more than they have!

Here's my Power Ranger and my Tinkerbell. The only reason she is wearing a crown is because Mikaela's get up had a crown and she could not bear to be different from her sister! The Red Power Ranger.

Tink! I'm so sad this pic is blurry. I'm still learning the ropes to my new camera.

And here's Sleeping Beauty. The only reason she wasn't in any of the prior shots is because she was having a bit of a tantrum right before. So sadly she was in time-out while I was outstide with the other two. At least she pulled herself together in time to get ready! And if anyone is noticing that Mikaela is sporting bangs...let's just say that these are curtesy of her own work done over General Conference weekend. We couldn't believe she took scissors to her own head, but once I fixed them I think they looked alright. Leave it to Mikaela to keep me on my toes!
Here's some new friends of ours that we joined for trick-or-treating. Getting candy is always so much more fun with friends :)

All in all a great Halloween. The only odd thing we saw that night, a truck full of kids with a huge lit up cross in the bed of the truck!?!?!? I guess we're not in Utah anymore kiddos!
