Animal Kingdom

Another park we were able to spend a day at was the Animal Kingdom. The entire park is devoted to preserving wildlife, which was so neat. The first thing we did was head on over to the Safari Tour to check out all the cool animals they had! Apparently the best time to go is right in the morning because the animals are more apt to be awake and out. And boy did we see our fair share of animals!!

Oh yeah, this is the cool Tree of Life that they have in the center of the park. We got a chance to go through it and all around the tree outside and in are animals carved into the bark.

The entire park has different countries they patterned after. Here is snap of "Africa" as we were heading towards our Safari Tour.

Alright, here we are on the Safari Tour! Can you tell the kids are excited!!

Lexie loved pointing at all the different animals she saw.

We were so hot after that we headed to the white water rafting ride to cool down. Since Lex was too small to get on we had to take turns staying out with her. Jackson did not mind one bit...this is what he did while he waited for Mikaela, Jared, and I to get off the ride! My brother said he tried to have him get not so wet, but obviously Jackson had other plans for himself:)

And this is how Lex kept herself entertained:) Isn't she cute!

After our cool down we headed indoors to see the awesome Lion King show! It was fabulous! They had all these great singers/dancers, and they even had this cool flame thrower!! We were all in awe at how well executed the show was.

And of course here's Mikaela in the middle of the show! They asked for volunteers to come and help play some instruments and she just ran out! She LOVED it!!

Afterward our show we headed out to eat lunch and enjoy the parade.

After the parade we and explored the kiddie area. The kids favorite part were the dinosaurs they had that they could climb all over. I think we spent an hour at this dinosaur alone!
The animal park is the only park that closes pretty early. That day it closed at 6:00 p.m. so we headed on out for a fun dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe. The kids loved the atmosphere, but I think what they loved the most was the "Volcano" we ordered to celebrate their birthdays! It was so YUMMY!!

And that's a wrap for all of our Disney days!!
