Museum of Nature and Science - Field Trip

Way back in February I joined Mikaela on her one and only field trip of the year to the Museum of Nature and Science. We had so much fun and she felt so grown up riding on the bus farther than 1 mile down the road!! Here are photos of the trip :)

Getting off the bus!
Patiently waiting for our IMAX bug movie to begin. The IMAX part was way cool. Watching a caterpillar grow, form a cocoon, become a butterfly, and then get EATEN by a Preying Mantis...not so cool! Mikaela was asking me the entire rest of the day what had happened to Papillio (the butterfly) and why it's wings were floating down river at the end of the movie!!
Her group for the day.
Dancing and watching herself on the heat sensor TV.
Taking a break.
This nose was hilarious. It would "sneeze" on you if you stuck your head inside it. Mikaela loved it!
The entire class.
The bug eyes she was able to try on during our bug lecture. And by lecture I mean lecture!! The lady went on and on and on and on.....she even lost all of the adults during her 40 min. speech!
All in all, we had a great day and I was so happy I was able to spend it with Mickey :)
