What happens when a five year old boy finishes his project early in class? He picks a new one, GIVING HIMSELF A HAIRCUT!
I know the up close pictures are a bit blurry but you get the jist of the whack job he gave himself. Sad thing is I didn't even notice until tonight (Sunday). All week he's either been sporting a beanie to school or he's spiked his own hair with me just doing touch ups. I thought I realized something was off with his hair on Wednesday, but blew it off in my rush to get him out the door on time. So tonight when he and I were sitting on the couch reading I got an up close look and jokingly asked him if he had cut his hair. His reply...YUP. He was bored in class after finishing his project and so he decided to have fun with the scissors. Ahh, BOYS..got to LOVE 'em. We'll see how I can fix this tomorrow!

Time for a buzz. That is so funny that you didn't notice- and apparently the teacher didn't either!
LOL...way to go Jacks! That made my day. I am not sure that one would get by me, for obvious reasons, which means I might be a basketcase when (not if) that happens. Did I mention how handsome he is, I love my little brown boy!
I can't believe it took you so long to notice, that is too funny! Eric and I had a good laugh. Yeah, where was the teacher? She she not see the hair all over his desk?
Its ok if you can't make it, maybe you guys can come down sometime that weekend and we can have dinner with my family?
I did not even notice! I wonder what Ms. Judkins thought after the class left and she found a clump of hair...
So so sorry. I hope that never happens in my house. He is one handsome little boy so I am sure he looks great! It is one thing for our boys to do it. We can just give them a buzz cut. Let's hope and pray that our girls never do it.
Hey, what a hoot! I remember doing that also...except I was in 5th grade!!! and it was A LOT more noticeable! Good Luck evening it out! Hope you guys are doing great!!! Miss you!
