Jared's 31st Birthday

This past Sunday was Jared's 31st Birthday and we celebrated all weekend long. On Saturday we went to the mall with no kiddies (well almost none, Lex always comes along!) and shopped blissfully for an hour. Yes, it was a short time period, but man did we sure get things accomplished. Then we came back and went out to Braza Grill for Jareds pre-Birthday dinner. It was good but I think hands down Jared and I will always prefer Rodizio's or Tucano's. If they weren't so far away we might have gone, but Braza did just fine for being close. This was the first time we have ever taken the kids to a Brazilian restaurant and remarkably they did good. They all found something they liked and Jackson was even daring enough to eat a chicken heart. I myself have never tried one, but both he and Jared said it was great!
Then on Sunday we woke Jared up to fun Birthday presents. He got a slew of yummy munchies to take to work, Super Mario Galaxy, and some sawhorses.

Then that night Mickey and I finished decorating his yummy Jell-O Cake and he blew out his candles. The kids were so excited and couldn't get enough of the amount of candles on the cake. They kept saying it was going to catch on fire!! Ha Ha!! Oh yeah, and Lexie's hair is not typically so out of control. The babes had just woken up from a nap:)

That looks like so much fun for birthday celebrations! We almost always do a Brazilian dinner something for Brad or my birthday and I would have to agree that we like Rodizio or Tucanos better too but Braza will do for being closer. Jackson was brave to try a chicken heart! Did you know that if you register your birthday on Tucanos website they send you a coupon for a free meal for your birthday and you can use it any time in that month. Just thought I would tell you if you didn't know BUT, it's still in Salt Lake :)

You know, since Jared's B-Day is always a 1 month preview of my own, I vote that Jared stop having birthdays. Then I will stop aging. That's decent logic isn't it?
