Our little Alexis is 1 today!! Happy 1st Birthday Lex!
I can not believe how fast this first year has come and gone. I know it sounds cliche, but it really does feel like we just brought our little Lex home from the hospital. From her speedy arrival to a year full of joy, our Lex has brought us an immeasurable amount of happiness and laughter.
Here's a top ten of the birthday girl:
1. She is ALWAYS happy! Unless she's hungry you'll rarely see a frown on her.
2. She has a contagious laughter.
3. She loves her brother and sister to pieces. She follows them everywhere!
4. She will eat almost ANYTHING! The other day she had chili for the first time and devoured it!
5. She loves to chase the dog around the house.
6. She plays an awesome game of Hide and Seek and Red Rover!
7. She has a WICKED head of hair.
8. She LOVES the water. I think bathtime is her favorite time of the day.
9. She gives "loves" to pretty much anyone willing to snuggle with her.
10. She is an AWESOME sleeper!

In spirit of celebration we actually had a mini-celebration for Lex yesterday. Her cousins happened to be in town for the day so we thought we'd capitalize on the family time. Here's a couple pics of last night.

Thanks Lex for being a part of our family! We love you TONS and don't know what we'd do without you! And no worries, even though you had your cake yesterday, Mommy saved you some for your actual day! You'll get to dig in one more time tonight!

Oh my gosh...I can't believe you really made all 3. I give you the award for the DEVOTED DOMESTIC DIVA! I forgot to call you and thank you for the yummy treat the other day...sorry, but Thanks! Looks like you had SO much fun. She is a doll!
I also can NOT believe you made all three!!! OMG! I do love the kitties on a stick. AND I too am amazed at how fast the year has gone...I can't believe she is 1!

okay I think that your cookie cutter is bigger than mine is... I want to take your idea but I think I might have to borrow your cookie cutter for that because mine will be like half the size.
