Thomas the Box Pet

A couple weeks ago Jackson had a little project at school...make any pet you want out of boxes. Despite all my efforts and encouragement to make a lion, zebra, panther (anything exotic) he settled on wanting to replicate his Webkinz pet, a St. Bernard he's named Thomas (surprise, surprise). Try as I may, try as I might, my efforts to not leave this project to the last minute failed. I'm a procrastinor by nature and am so trying to not pass this bad trait on to my children. However, it did not work and so there we were, Saturday and Sunday painting and gluing 'till we didn't want to look at Thomas anymore! By the end though I think it ended up pretty cute. The best part, Jackson was very proud and excited to take him to school.
