The Last of the Twenties...

This past Sunday was my birthday. This is how old I became. Is it weird that I feel nowhere near being this age at all? I still feel like I'm 21 or something. I mean I know there is evidence that I've reached this ripe old age...married 8 years, 3 kids, mortgage, student loans, ya da ya da ya da. But really, I don't feel like I'm swiftly approaching 30. At any rate, I LOVE birthdays, and I had a great weekend celebrating mine. We got a babysitter for Saturday night and went to a movie and a late dinner. So fun! Then we stopped in at Kirt's for their seasonal Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Shake...SOOOO GOOD!! Then on Sunday (my actual birthday) we got up and going because we had our Ward's Primary Program. Talk about stressful for my birthday. Thank goodness all went well and that evening we celebrated by having another yummer dinner and pie! Thanks to everyone that ended up making my special day great! 'Till next year!
*Oh yeah and there are no photos because right as we pulled the camera out for the "Happy Birthday" song and pie the camera died! It had a great run (6 years!) but I guess it had had enough. Time to dust off my old SLR Minolta Maxxum 5. I am appalled that I'm going to be developing film until I get myself a new digital!! I haven't done that in forever...well 6 years to be exact. I am definitely looking forward to Black Friday now!

Hey Old Lady! I am 4 months from 30! I look forward to the next decade. It is not about how old you are but how hot you look right? I can't believe your kiddos are getting so big. It's good to catch up!
