Hoggle Zoo

So I'm playing catch up today on the blog and here's one event I had neglected to post about. About week or so ago I was able to accompany Jackson and his class to the Hoggle Zoo. What a treat! Especially since neither one of us has ever gone. Thankfully, my sweet friend Stephanie took Lex in for the day, and so I was able to go sans baby! Let me tell you, it was so nippy down there that I'm glad she didn't come along. But obviously Mikaela came and Jackson's friends were so nice and included her in everything they did! What nice boys:)

Well, as soon as we got there Jacks and his friends asked for the map and they set out the paths for our crew of eleven. My group had six boys, two tag along sisters, and 3 mothers. Boy that was a lot of us to move around! But the boys knew what they wanted to see and off we went.

This pic is so classic of what the entire day was like. Those boys really enjoyed reading the map!One of the highlights of the trip was seeing the baby elephant Zuri. So cute:)Here's the whole gang. How they all managed to climb or touch something of this poor rhino for this pic was amazing to me!

After all the kids got on the bus to head home I was lucky enough to keep mine and our little neighbor boy. Instead of heading for the car right away we ventured off for a couple of minutes to see some of the animals we hadn't seen yet. The highlight...the WOLF. He had finally woken up and was out! The kids loved it!

All in all it was a great trip and the kids are begging to go back. I say maybe in the spring when it gets warmer:)
