Jones Art Show-5/5/2011

The kids' school puts on an art show every year that includes work that all the kids from the school completed during the year. This year I headed on over with them to see what art piece of theirs was chosen to get displayed.

While we roamed the halls looking for Mikaela's art piece we came across the Abraham Lincoln Jackson made for his book in a bag project. We worked so hard on this and thankfully had it done early since Camila was born the weekend before it was due!! We had to take a picture since who knew how long Abe's head was going to stay on!

We finally found Mikaela's art piece. This is the same one that was chosen to be displayed at the District Art Show a couple months earlier. She was so proud too :) You can't tell what she's pointing at but it's the owl drawing direcly above her!

Then we found the flower she had been working on that week in class. We took a quick pic of it as well :)

We ended the night with cookies and ice cream! So proud of these kiddos :)
