First Day of School 2010

Back in August the kids headed off to school! There were mixed feelings for everyone, but I think I was the one that was most nervous for my babes. The night before Jared gave them their Father's Blessing and they LOVED it. I think it is one of the things they look forward to the most when going back to school. After the blessings they ran to bed so that they could wake up bright and early the next day.

Here they are ready to head to school. We were still in corporate housing when they started school so we had to leave EXTRA early in order to make it on time! But they didn't mind one bit:) Here we are in front of the school. Can you tell it was super bright out that day?!? This was at 7:40 a.m. people!! It was also already 86* out! Got to love Texas!

Here's my Jacks ready to start 2nd grade in his new school. Like I said, I was the most nervous for both of them. Jacks was calm as can be and when he came home said he had already made a friend!

Who told this girl she could grow up? Definitely NOT me! During the summer it was all I could do but count the days until she started school. Now that she's gone I miss her like CRAZY!! Especially since she's gone ALL DAY! Out here it's all day Kinder and she was nervous she'd be tired and would need a nap (her words not mine!), but when she came home she said she loved it and had the best teacher ever! I'm so glad she's having such a great experience :)

My babies are growing up...not sure I like where this is headed;) Here's to another great school year!
