The day after my brother's wedding was, lo and behold, my big guy Jacks' birthday!! And since he and Mikaela are only a few days apart in birthdays we decided yet again to throw the joint party while their Dad was still in town.
Since they are forever destined to share their birthday parties, this year we decided to splurge and get them a cooler cake instead. I think it turned out cool! Old School piping rocks! And if you can't read the cake my Jacks turned 7 and Mikaela was turning 5 just six days later! When did they ask me if they could grow up?

Below are several attempts at a decent photo of the two of them with their cake! Ughh, why do I even try!?!? At least they give me a laugh when I look at them:)

The big moment!! Hope you guys made a great wish this year!

This was the biggest Ninja Turtle pinata I have ever seen. It was bigger than Mikaela! Since we kind of threw this party together last minute I couldn't find a Sonic pinata or a Strawberry Shortcake pinata. But the kids didn't even care. Raphael did just fine amongst this crowd!

Told you the pinata was huge! The kids had a kick trying on the head afterwards. Under here is Evan.

This is Aubrey under there.

Even my biggest kid couldn't resist trying on the head!

Yeah, my bro. Alex thought it would be funny to try and hit the human pinata! No worries, no one really got hit...but it makes for a good pic!

The opening of the presents!

The kids had a blast! They loved having their MD cousins to celebrate with them and a lot of Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents to make their birthdays feel like a party! Thanks everyone for a great day!
P.S.-Jackson and Mikaela, could you two please stop growing up so fast?!? I love you, Mom.
