Gimp 2.0

Two weeks ago I took Mikaela in for her Kindergarten check up and she was SO scared. I don't know if it was better that I told her about the shots she was going to get (I thought it would help if she knew beforehand), because she was a wreck! The only thing she could talk about all day was how she DID NOT want to go to the doctors. But of course, off we went, and she did do fairly well. That is of course unti they pricked her finger for the iron count test. I don't think I have ever heard her scream so loud! And that was just a prick! Her Doctor came in afterward and she calmed down a little bit, but then of course the nurse came back to finish her job. Oh man, Mikaela started screaming the moment she saw her walk in with the tray full of shots. She screamed until it was all done and then just stopped. I was shocked. No crying over pain or anything! She put the lolipop in her mouth and walked out fine. Luckily, the only side effect was her gimpy walk, which Jackson had as well two years ago when he went through this. So I had to take pics of her gimpy walk! She was hilarious!


Here she is in full gimp mode. This picture doesn't do it justice but she walked around with her butt stickig out like one of the step sisters from Cinderella! It was hilarious! This was the leg that hurt the most and so she kind of limped for a couple of days until it felt better.

This is her classic ballet pose! She's been practicing for her upcoming recital and this is what she does around the house ALL THE TIME! Jackson couldn't resist and joined in:)
