Lexie was unstoppable! She would not be held and wanted down on the ice the entire night. This is how she started out, but by the end of the night she was just holding on to one of my hands and we were skating just fine (slow, but fine). If you look in this pic you'll also see Mikaela...remember what I said about some enjoying it more than others!! Ha Ha. She has such a happy/terrified look on her face!! She did like skating, she just did not last more than twice around the rink. Lexie on the other hand lasted the entire hour and half we were there and screamed when we took her skates off!
Jacks...what can I say other than the boy has skills. Once he got over his fear of falling he took off without us. I had to constantly be scanning the rink to see where he was at. He also loved it so much he did not want to leave. He asked if we could come back the next day and we unfortunately had to tell him no...I couldn't believe how costly ice skating can be for a family of 5! And this was with Lexie being free!!
After two laps around the rink this is what she preferred to do, sit and watch.
I did finally get her back out for one more lap and she actually stood without assistance! She was so proud of this moment!
Here we are as we wait for the Zambonie (sp?) to do its job.
Can't there be one family pic where everyone is looking at the camera, or else not making a weird face? Apparently not!

I was wondering how the went for you guys. I am so glad that you had a nice night! I love that Lexi loved skating so much... I wonder what Ethan would do. Can I just say, I miss North Ogden 1st ward REALLY bad. We need to finish your blocks though and you need to come see my little abode!
