Milk and Cookies

Saturday night we took the kids to the local children's museum for their annual "Milk and Cookies" party with Santa. The kids had a blast and loved getting to carol with Santa so early on in the month. The place was pretty full, but it also was so well organized that we ended up staying the entire two hours of the party. By the end we were all tuckered out and ready for bed. Perfect end to a fun night.

Here are the girls keeping themselves occupied while we awaited our turn to carol with Santa in the theatre. Lexie loves the cowboy/cowgirl section. Jared literally had to pry her off this horse so that we could move on to the next thing!

Since we arrived a bit early we were lucky enough to get seats for the first caroling session with Santa. Here are Jacks and Mickey excitedly waiting for him to come out.

After caroling we went out and had our Milk and Cookies!! Yummy Yummy in our Tummies!! Not sure if the cookies were just for the kids or not, but Jared and I had some too they looked so good:)

They had different activites throughout the museum relating to Christmas and the kids picked which ones they wanted to go to. The one for sure they did not pass up was writing their letter to Santa. I guess I'm a bad Mom because the kids have been begging to write their letters and I keep saying "we'll do them tomorrow" and we never do. So Saturday night when they heard there was a writing section they were all over it. Since they put their letters in the post box at the museum I took pictures of their letters as keepsakes.

I love how the first two things on Jackson's list are very expensive items! When did he acquire such an expensive taste. After reading his letter I reminded him that Santa has to get toys for ALL the kids in the world so he may only pick one or two things from his list!!

And I loved how Mikaela did not ask for 1 Webkinz, but 5!! I am not a lover of stuffed animals but the Webkinz I accept because Jackson, Mikaela, and Lexie love them so much. However, I am not quite sure if my love is large enough for 5 more!! LOL!!
