Vegas Baby!

While my mom was in town Jared and I took the opportunity to get away just the two of us for the first time in 6 years!! I can't believe it! We didn't want to go far, so down to Vegas we went. It was kind of funny because Vegas was where we spent our 1st year anniversary and it was the WORST trip we have ever taken together. We were both hot and miserable the entire time. So this time around we vowed to make it a better trip...and a better trip it really was! We had a blast!

Here's a shot from the top of the Paris' Eiffel Tower. My fear of heights kicked in real bad but we stayed up there long enough to catch the sunset and watch the fountain show at the Belagio.

I love watching this show, but watching it from way up there was the BEST!

We dinked around the Paris and ate some yummy Crepes. I think other than New York, New York, this is my favorite hotel in Vegas.

We were down in Vegas for roughly four days and so we had quite some time to do stuff. We caught the Lion feeding at the MGM Grand.

Went to M&M World and fell in love with the new coconut M&M's. They are so delicious I just couldn't stop eating them. I brought some home for Jackson but really I think I ate about 90% of the bag!

And we got to see Seinfeld! He was hilarious and really clean. Jared and I were crying we were laughing so hard during some of his bits.

One of our other stops was the Four Kegs. This was a place featured on Diners, Drive-In's, and Dives (one of our favorite shows) and we couldn't resist stopping in to try their famous stromboli's! They were to die for!

Other than that we ate to our heart's content, slept in way too late (but it felt oh so good), stayed up way too late, and shopped! We had a blast and can't wait to do another getaway. Hopefully, it will be sooner than 6 years from now!
