Today I had the funniest conversation with Jackson during lunch and so I just had to share. It went a little something like this:
Jackson: Mom, do you remember a while ago when Dad said when he's gone I'm the "Man of the House."
Me: Yeah.
Jackson: Well, Dad's not here right now...so I guess I'm the "Man of the House" now.
(At this point Jackson has this huge smile plastered on his face!)
Me: Yup. Hey Jackson, did Dad also tell you that all "Men" of houses listen and do EVERYTHING that the "Woman of the House" asks them do to.
Jackson: No.
Me: And who's the Woman of this house Jackson.
Jackson: You are.
(He ate silently for a moment here!)
Jackson: Mom.
Me: Yeah Jackson.
Jackson: I don't want to be the "Man of the House" anymore.
I was laughing so hard I couldn't stop!! What a funny boy!!

That's awesome!! I love what kids say! Gavin's told me that when he's a dad he wants to be bald just like dad! I have to tell him to be careful what he wishes for! LOL
