Legoland Discovery Center

The outings continue...after the rest of the family flew in for Jackson's Baptism we decided to take the kiddos to the Legoland Discovery Center that opened up in the Grapevine Mall. It was a trek to get out there (imagine getting 15 people ready and loaded by 10 a.m.!!) but we made it and the kids had a blast. My only wish is that it were a bit bigger. They had so much for the kids to do, I just felt like we were a bit too crowded...or maybe that's because we were there on the day that an entire summer school horde of kids were there on a field trip too! Ugh! Oh well, it was fun and the place really is GREAT :)

They had little rides there for the kids. Grown ups could also enjoy in the fun!
An entire section of Princess Legos! Mikaela was in HEAVEN...need I say more!
These two boys are the best at picking up right where they left off. The last time they saw each other was last summer at my little brother's wedding. But not seeing each other in so long did not stop them from immediately hitting it off and being inseparable all weekend! At Legoland we literally had to pry them away from the build-a car exhibit. They WOULD NOT LEAVE!! When we would take them to experience something else they would come with and then immediately ask to go back to the race cars!

They had this cool exhibit where they build landmarks of Dallas and Forth Worth all out of legos. It was pretty cool!

We had a great day and the kids were EXHAUSTED! But right as we were leaving they say this...AND THEY ALL HAD TO TRY IT! They were so funny! They were so excited to do it and then when they actually got on the boys were so timid and the girls were the ones flying! It was hilarious to watch!
