I have rejoined the ranks of the living! No pun intended, especially considering the book I just read!! Okay, so I fell in love with the whole Stephanie Meyer Vampire series and since this book came out this week I have been totally consumed with it. Which is why I haven't posted anything in quite some time. So scroll down to see what else has been going on this week if this post bores you:) However, I must say this last book was great up until the ending!! I bought it on Saturday and any chance I got I would read, read, read. I think my kids must have thought I had been swallowed by a black hole because every time they turned around to ask me something I swear I had that book open. Well, I finally finished today and I don't know...I loved it and I didn't. The story line was great, the character depictions were great, but I think the ending was so anti-climactic. Am I being weird? Too Critical? Who knows...I don't regret reading it, I just wish their would have been more "umph" to the end. Let me know what you think if you read it:)

I'd love to read Book #4! I'd love to borrow your copy if the offer is still there! My friends from work have said the same thing you are feeling. But it's still fun to read. Can't wait til December to see the movie!
I loved it...sorry. It is my favorite of the 4. I was more concerned, however, with Alice's return than with the climax, so maybe that made a difference. I did, however, want to comment on your sidepost about "Stargirl". I just finised "Love, Stargirl", the sequel to Stargirl. I so loved the two, what a great story! So, if you haven't read the second one, get started...it is better than the first.
I haven't even bought it yet...but I'm so excited to read it. Thanks for not giving anything away...I hesitated reading your post when I saw the picture. I hope it's not too disappointing when I read it.
Okay, just a couple of things that made me go "huh?" in this one. But the main one is the daughters name. I hated it! Nails on a chalkboard every time I read it. And some other interesting points, so Bella can just cruise around Forks in Edwards car that anyone would recognize all modely and sparkly now and no one is the wiser? And, now that they might have to move away, and Jacob go with them, won't he start aging because there will be no threat, and he won't be by his pack, and then he will be old and Nessie won't? And I read something funny somewhere about how it seemed like Edward almost didn't care much about the baby or being a dad, until he proved himself by giving his three month old an MP3 player! Ha, I thought that was funny. Not to bash it too much...he, he. I did enjoy it. I am just too critical.
You know, I was not impressed with Book #4 either. The whole imprinting thing kind of made me sick... In a way, I wish I wouldn't have ever read it, because I LOVED the first three and now I'm kind of over them. "It's fiction," I have to keep telling myself, "It's just fiction."
I totally agree!
